Awesome Printable (Free) For Planning
Things you will need to plan:
1. When to have the party.
2. What type of party to have?
3. Who to invite.
4. What your party will consist of.
5. Time frame for the party.
Be thoughtful when picking a party date. During the summer most people are busy on the weekends. I would recommend a week night for parties. Fall and Spring is less active and easier to plan. Winter you always have the Holiday parties and weather to work around. Just remember other people have plans too!
Does your host want to have a theme party? Does she know anyone that is having a birthday, getting married, or retiring and want to have a party for them? Find out what she would like now so you can start your list for the event.

Work with your host and have her put some thought to her guest list. You would not want to invite a person who hates to cook to a gourmet show. Or someone with no children to a children's book party.
Your host should pick out more than the amount that she hopes for as something may come up where people cannot attend. Life happens and it is nothing to get up set about.
Get the names, address and phone numbers from her. Offer to make out hand written invitations for her. Remember... this is your job... not hers. I do not recommend sending an email invitation. It is too easy for them to be lost or deleted. It also shows that you both have put some thought into this and care enough to send more than an email.
A week before the show give each invite a call and check in with them to see if they are coming. No means no and people resent if you push. If a person says no ask if you can put them on your mailing or contact list. Sometimes they will agree feeling that they need to give you something for not attending :-)

Go over the party with your host and let her know what you will be doing. I suggest the following steps in the order that you and she are both comfortable with.
Welcome the guests
Small game to get them warmed up and laughing
Your presentation of your producrs
Your presentation of hostess gifts that your host will be earning
If you possibly can present gifts that are available for the following month as well
Another game
Ask if anyone would be interested in getting free products (or the hostess gift)
Ask if anyone has an event coming up that could be turned into a party (birthday, baby, retirement etc...)
Wrap up your presentation
Help them with their orders and answer questions.
After the party always help your hostess clean up. Discuss thank you notes with her. Be sure to offer to help her with the thank you notes! If she wants to do them be sure to leave your business cards to go in them. After guests receive their order you have a perfect reason to call them to see if they are happy with their order and if they too would like to have a party.
