The best way to have an online party is hand in hand with a home party. These were first started so your hosts out of town family and friends could buy from her party. Since then the stand alone online party has evolved.
Depending on who you talk to they are either very successful or very unsuccessful. As with everything else in the direct sales world you get a mixed bag of answers. Always remember what works for one might not work for the other.
I think if you like online parties and put enough thought and time in to them they will work. They must as I am invited to between 10 to 20 a week :-)
Online companies are beginning to recognize them as well. They are creating things to help with your online party all the time. A well done online party can be just as fun as a home party!
There is everything from online invitations, party rooms, facebook events and even online thank you notes! About the only thing lacking from a regular party is food being served!
